Travis Pride

Travis Pride will be entering his third season as a graduate assistant for the University of Wyoming. One of his major responsibilities is coaching the Cowboy tight ends. Pride came to Wyoming from Kauai High School in Lihue, Hawai'i, where he was the offensive coordinator for four seasons (1993-96) and head coach for two seasons (1995-96).

Pride is a graduate of Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colo., where he earned his bachelor's degree in education. While at Mesa State, Pride was an all-conference free safety in 1989, '90, '91 and '92, and helped his team win the NCAA Division II National Championship in 1992. He was also an All-American wrestler at Mesa State at 158 pounds from 1990-92. Pride was born June 3, 1968, in Durango, Colo.
