TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Wide receiver David Leonard threw a 37-yard touchdown pass and Wyoming held off Toledo's attempted rally in a 20-15 win on Saturday night.
Ian Watts made field goals from 32 and 34 yards away to put Wyoming ahead by 20 points with 7:55 left in the third quarter.
The Rockets (3-2) finally scored with 41 seconds left in the third after Johnie Roberts and Christian Smith tackled Alexander in the end zone for a safety. David Fluellen scored on a 6-yard run just three seconds into the fourth, cutting the lead to 20-9.
Adonis Thomas scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:59 left in the game to pull the Rockets to within five points, but failed on the two-point conversion.
