LARAMIE, Wyo. -

University of Wyoming senior offensive tackle Chase Johnson will participate in the First Annual Inta Juice North-South All-Star Classic in Houston, Texas on Saturday, Jan. 13. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 10 a.m., Mountain Time (11 a.m., Central Time).

Johnson will play for the North squad, and will be coached by San Jose State head coach Dick Tomey, who will serve as head coach of the North. The head coach of the South team will be Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach.

Johnson concluded his Wyoming career by being selected a First Team All-Mountain West Conference offensive tackle in voting by conference media and the nine MWC head coaches. He started every game at left offensive tackle for the Cowboys over the past four seasons -- 47 consecutive games without every missing a start.

A native of Loveland, Colo., Johnson has also been invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine later this winter.

The First Annual Inta Juice North-South All-Star Classic is being played in the Galena Park Stadium in suburban Houston.

Among the other Mountain West Conference players scheduled to participate are: Quincy Black, linebacker, New Mexico; and Clint Oldenburg, offensive lineman, Colorado State.
