April 10, 2012
LARAMIE, Wyo. - Season tickets are currently on sale for the 2012 Wyoming Cowboy football season. The Cowboys are coming off their best season in 14 years, posting an 8-5 record in 2011, finishing in third place in the Mountain West and earning a trip to the 2011 Gildan New Mexico Bowl. The 2012 schedule features six home games, including matchups with rivals Colorado State and Air Force and home games versus four teams that appeared in bowl games a year ago -- Air Force, Boise State, San Diego State and Toledo. Wyoming will also host Cal Poly in the first meeting between the two schools.
The cost of renewing a season ticket for the 2012 Wyoming Football season for fans who purchased season tickets in 2011 is $185 per season ticket, which is a discount of $10 off the price of a new season ticket. The 2012 season-ticket price for new (non-renewal) season tickets is $195 per season ticket. A season ticket guarantees a ticket to all six Wyoming home games in 2012. Season-ticket renewals are a great value, offering fans a savings of $45 over the single-game ticket prices of $230. For fans purchasing new season tickets, they will save $35 over the single-game ticket prices.
UW faculty and staff members renewing season tickets from 2011 will pay $155 each for 2012 season tickets. The price for UW faculty and staff members who are purchasing new season tickets will be $165 each.
Fans may also purchase a season-ticket Family Plan. Each season ticket in a Family Plan sells for $125 with a required minimum purchase of four tickets for a total of $500 for a Family Plan of four season tickets. Family Plans include two adult tickets, two youth tickets (ages 3-18) and are limited to Sections 28 and HH.
The deadline for 2012 renewals is April 30.
