LARAMIE, Wyo. -
Wyoming football fans will be offered a new tailgating experience in 2014 as the "Poke Pregame Zone" will kick off a new era of Cowboy Football. The "Poke Pregame Zone" will shift the pregame tailgating area to the Indoor Practice Facility and Ford Stadium Lot, and will incorporate a new "Tailgate Alley" adjacent to Indoor Practice Facility.
"Fan Fest" will be held for all six home games in 2014. It is open to all fans, and will kick off three hours prior to each home football game in the Indoor Practice Facility. Food and drink vendors, WYO merchandise sales, kids' games and activities, live music and televised national football games will all be featured for fans' enjoyment.
"Tailgate Alley", adjacent to the south side of the Indoor Practice Facility and at the north end of the Ford Stadium Lot, will be a reserved area for the truest of tailgaters. Reserved spots in "Tailgate Alley" are limited, so make your reservations with the Cowboy Joe Club now.
By reserving your spot in "Tailgate Alley" fans will receive: access to their reserved spot at 5 p.m. the day prior to home games; a complimentary 10'x10' pop-up tent; a complimentary WYO barbecue set; and a 3'x5' flag. Best of all, "Tailgate Alley" members will be located in a centralized area in the heart of all pregame tailgating activities. RVs and automobiles are both welcome in "Tailgate Alley". Regular Cowboy Joe Club donation amounts do apply to parking in the Ford Stadium Lot.
The new "Poke Pregame Zone" replaces the former Tailgate Park located on the southwest corner of War Memorial Stadium. All vendors and pregame activities will now be located in the Indoor Practice Facility. The Cowboy Joe Club member tailgate will also be held in the Indoor Practice Facility.
