COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -
The PAC-12 Conference announced on Monday a number of television games for the upcoming 2015 college football season. Among the televised games announced is Wyoming's Sept. 19 game at Washington State, which will be televised on the PAC-12 Network. The game time for that game was also announced, with kickoff coming at 6:30 p.m., Mountain Time (5:30 p.m., Pacific Time).
The Cowboys and Cougars are renewing a football series that dates back to 1962 when the two teams first played. Wyoming has won two of the previous five meetings, with both wins coming on the road in Pullman. The Cowboys won the most recent game in the series, defeating WSU 34-13 in 1990 on the Cougars' home field.
The announcement of the PAC-12 Network coverage brings to seven the number of Wyoming games that will be televised this coming year.
ESPN Networks will televise Wyoming's road games at Air Force on Saturday, Oct. 10 and at Boise State on Oct. 24, as well as UW's home games versus Nevada on Oct. 17 and versus Colorado State on Nov. 7.
The Cowboys' Friday, Oct. 30 game at Utah State will be televised on ESPN2.
CBS Sports Network will televise Wyoming's road game at San Diego State on Nov. 14.
Exact kick times and specific outlets for ESPN Network Saturday games will be determined during the regular season. Those announcements are generally made 12 days in advance of each game.
In the weeks to come, ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will be selecting additional MW football games for telecast.
