LARAMIE, Wyo. -
With a variety of pricing options available, single-game tickets for Wyoming's exciting 2003 home football schedule go on sale Monday at the UW Athletics Ticket Office.
Wyoming officially opens the Joe Glenn Era on Aug. 30, when it hosts Montana State in War Memorial Stadium. Game times for both that opener, and the Kansas game on Sept. 13, have been set for 2 p.m. Once Mountain West Conference television commitments are determined, kickoff times for the remainder of the Cowboy schedule will be announced.
Old rivals Brigham Young (Oct. 18), and Colorado State (Nov. 1) highlight the Cowboys' home MWC schedule in addition to the non-conference games. New Mexico (Nov. 22), and UNLV (Nov. 29) round out the slate in War Memorial Stadium.
Season tickets remain on sale. In addition to regular reserved seating, on a single-game basis, Cowboys fans have even more options from which to choose:
*The Value Pack is designed especially for the family. With this plan, a family of four may purchase tickets (maximum of 2 adults) in reserved sections of the stadium at dramatically discounted prices. Seats are limited in this plan.
*The Cowboy Combo offers a three-game package for the season for those fans who can't make all of the home games. Fans may select one game from each of three groupings. . .Montana State-New Mexico; Colorado State-UNLV, and Kansas-Brigham Young.
*The Cold Pack is new for this season. It offers the Cowboys' November-game package--Colorado State, New Mexico and UNLV--for a special low rate.
In addition there are two offerings for students. The first is the traditional "Knothole Section". Young people, aged 18 and under, may purchase a ticket for $5 in the south end zone of War Memorial. Those tickets are available the week of the game, and are sold on a walk-up basis only.
The other student option is new this season. It is designed for non-UW students, 18 and older, who may purchase tickets at a reduced rate. This package caters to continuing educational institutions such as junior colleges and technical colleges.
