Wade Betschart


Wade Betschart, a native of Torrington, Wyo., earned four letters for the Cowboys at H-Back/Tight End from 2004 to 2007. In his first season, he helped lead the Pokes to an upset victory in the Las Vegas Bowl over UCLA. His best seasons as a Cowboy came in 2006 and 2007 when he was named Second Team All-Mountain West. He was also a team captain during the 2007 season. Throughout his career he played in 47 games and scored eight total touchdowns.


Jim House


Jim House, a hometown Laramie product, earned three letters for the Cowboys during 1966, '67 and '68. House was a key member of back-to-back bowl teams that went to the Sun Bowl and Sugar Bowl. The 1966 Cowboys went 10-1 advancing to the Sun Bowl where they went on to defeat Florida State, 28-20. The following season, House helped the Cowboys to another 10-1 record, with a 10-0 regular season before falling to Louisiana State in the Sugar Bowl. During the 1967 season house was named All-Western Athletic Conference. House's final season of 1998, he was named team captain and earned All-WAC honors. House is still tied for No. 6 on Wyoming's most tackles in a single-game with 18.
