LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The Mountain West Conference and ROOT SPORTS announced on Monday that nine Mountain West football games will be televised by ROOT SPORTS during the upcoming 2015 season. The Wyoming Cowboys will be featured in three of those nine games.
Wyoming home games on: Saturday, Sept. 12 vs. Eastern Michigan at 2 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 26 vs. New Mexico at 1 p.m.; and Saturday, Nov. 28 vs. UNLV at Noon will all be televised by ROOT SPORTS.
The 2015 season will mark ROOT SPORTS’ third season as the official regional television partner of the Mountain West.
For the second straight year, ROOT SPORTS will be the exclusive television home of the weekly show, “Inside Wyoming Football with Head Coach Craig Bohl”, airing Thursday nights.
“ROOT SPORTS’ footprint is absolutely perfect for the University of Wyoming and our fan base,” said Tom Burman, University of Wyoming Athletics Director. “We enjoy the partnership that we’ve developed over the last several years, and we look forward to exposing people to Wyoming Football through ROOT SPORTS telecasts again this coming season.”
“We look forward to bringing viewers the hard-hitting tradition of Cowboy football on ROOT SPORTS for a third season,” said ROOT SPORTS Rocky Mountain General Manager David Woodman. “It is exciting to be the premier television destination for the loyal and passionate fans of Wyoming Athletics.”
The other Mountain West games in this year’s ROOT SPORTS’ television package include: Morgan State at Air Force (Sept. 5); New Mexico State at New Mexico (Oct. 3); Hawai’i at New Mexico (Oct. 17); New Mexico at San Jose State (Oct. 24); UNLV at Colorado State (Nov. 14); and Colorado State at New Mexico (Nov. 21).
