The 2003 Wyoming Cowboy football season officially gets under way today, as players report to campus for meetings. The first practice is scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday morning, August 6. All practices are open to the public. Following is a schedule for fall drills:
~Wyoming football players will report on Tues., Aug. 5.
~Pre-fall camp will open on Wed., Aug. 6, with a 10:00 a.m. practice without pads.
~The Cowboys will practice on Thurs. at 10:00 a.m., and Friday at 10:00 a.m.
~The first two-a-day will be Mon., Aug. 11, at 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
~The Cowboys will go once on Tues., Aug. 12, at 9:00 a.m.; twice on Wed., Aug. 13; once on Thurs., Aug. 14; twice on Fri., Aug. 15; with the first scrimmage tentatively set for the 16th.
~The team will practice twice on Mon., the 18th; once on the 19th; twice on the 20th; once on the 21st; and twice on the 22nd.
~All two-a-day practices will be at 9:00 and 3:30, while all once-a-day practices are at 9:00 through Aug. 23, with the exception of the first week when practice will begin at 10:00.
~The team is tentatively scheduled to scrimmage again on the 23rd.
~Scrimmage times will be announced at a later date.
~Regular practice will begin on the 25th of August.
