  • 2006 Cowboy Joe Club Football Travel Packages

For Wyoming football fans that are planning to follow the Cowboys on the road this season, it's time to start making arrangements. The University of Wyoming Athletics Ticket Office and the Cowboy Joe Club want to make sure that all fans are aware of road game ticket offers, travel package options and pre-game festivities in 2006.

Tickets are available for purchase for all six road games by calling the UW Athletics Ticket Office at 800-922-9461, 307-766-4850 or at this site. All tickets will be allocated by the use of the priority point system. Tickets to the road contests will be sent out approximately three weeks prior to the game date so fans are encouraged to make their plans early. Ticket prices for road games are as follows: Virginia - $30; Syracuse - $35; New Mexico - $14; TCU - $30; BYU - $17; UNLV - $28 & $15.

"We just want to make sure that the Wyoming fans know that they can purchase their tickets to all of the road games by contacting us," said Assistant A.D. for Ticketing, Bill Hamilton. "If the fans want to sit in the Wyoming section, this is their only option to do so."

The Cowboy Joe Club has arranged travel packages for four of the six road contests and pre-game hospitalities for all six games. The Virginia and Syracuse trip deadlines have passed but arrangements can still be made. See the Cowboy Joe Club link above for travel package and pre-game information.

"The Cowboy Joe Club and New Horizon's Travel have put together some great travel options for our fans," said Associate A.D. for External Relations, John Stark. "When you look at air travel, hotel rooms, game tickets and ground transportation all wrapped up into one package, there are some great travel opportunities for our fans."

The Cowboys first road game is against Virginia in Charlottesville on Saturday, September 9. The Cowboy Joe Club, along with the UW National Ambassadors, is planning a Friday night event in Charlottesville for the Wyoming faithful along with a pre-game hospitality prior to kickoff on Saturday.
