The University of Wyoming Cowboys (1-1, 0-0 in the Mountain West Conference) will host the University of Kansas Jayhawks (1-1, 0-0 in the Big 12 Conference) this coming Saturday, Sept. 13 in War Memorial Stadium. It will be the first time the Cowboys have hosted the Jayhawks since Oct. 5, 1963. This Saturday's game is scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m., Mountain time. There is no scheduled television coverage for this week's game.

It will mark the second consecutive week that the Cowboys will be playing a Big 12 Conference member. Wyoming lost at Oklahoma State on Sept. 6 by a score of 24-48.

This week's game will also mark the second consecutive week that KU will play a Mountain West Conference opponent. Kansas defeated UNLV last Saturday in Lawrence, Kan., by a score of 46-24.

Wyoming senior quarterback Casey Bramlet and Kansas senior QB Bill Whittemore were both named to the preseason watch list for the Davey O'Brien Award, which is awarded at the conclusion of each college football season to the top quarterback in the nation.

This weekend will see the induction of the 2003 class into the University of Wyoming Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction banquet will take place Friday night at the University of Wyoming Student Union Ballroom. The inductees will also be honored at halftime of Saturday's Wyoming-KU football game.
