Wyoming Place-kicker Stuart Williams Earns Honors From College Football Performance Awards

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Wyoming sophomore place-kicker Stuart Williams has been one of the pleasant surprises for the Wyoming Cowboys this season, and he was recognized this week for his outstanding start to the season.

Williams is a perfect 4-of-4 in field goals thus far this year, including kicking three last week versus Toledo. He is tied for 10th in the nation in field goals this season, averaging 2.00 field goals per game.

For his performance last week, Williams was named by College Football Performance Awards as an Honorable Mention selection as its Place-kicker of the Week. This week's College Football Performance Awards can be found here.

The other place-kickers recognized this past week by College Football Performance Awards were Place-kicker Performer of the Week: Chris Boswell (Rice). Honorable Mention selections were: Stuart Williams (Wyoming), Quentin Breshears (Fresno State), Caleb Sturgis (Florida), Ryan Bustin (Texas Tech), Jeff Budzien (Northwestern), John Bonano (Arizona), and Marshall Morgan (Georgia).
