The Mtn. Challenge, Front Range Edition Begins Saturday

CENTENNIAL, Colo. -

The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network today unveiled its latest promotion, which gives Wyoming Cowboys and Colorado State Rams fans the opportunity to test their football skills and win some great prizes, including a 42" high-definition television.

The Mtn. Challenge, Front Range Edition offers fans a chance to compete against their rival institution in a series of football-related challenges. The first of three challenges, culminating in a final showdown on Nov. 27, takes place this Saturday, Sept. 26 when the Wyoming Cowboys host the UNLV Rebels in Laramie.

Fans of all ages are invited to participate in a series of four skills: touchdown pass; field goal kick; high-step hurdle and defender dodge. The contestant who completes the four skills in the shortest amount of time wins. Each participant will receive a gift, courtesy of The Mtn.

The top-finishing contestant from each institution will face off in a final duel at the Colorado State/Wyoming game on Friday, Nov. 27 during The Mtn.'s game day coverage. Each finalist will be provided with a pair of game tickets and a MountainWest Sports Network jacket with the chance to win a 42" high-definition plasma television on the line. The consolation prize will be a 26" LCD HDTV.

Saturday, Sept. 26 - UNLV at Wyoming - 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. MT
Saturday, Oct. 10 - Utah at Colorado State - 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. MT
Friday, Nov. 27 - Wyoming at Colorado State - 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. MT

At Wyoming: The Mtn. Challenge, Front Range Edition will be held in Pepsi's Tailgate Park across from the southwest corner of War Memorial Stadium from 10:30 a.m. to kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 26.

At Colorado State: The Mtn. Challenge, Front Range Edition will be held in the tailgate area on the south side of Hughes Stadium from 1:30 p.m. to kickoff on Saturday, Oct. 10. The final will also be held at this location on Nov. 27 between 9:30 a.m. to kickoff.
