The oldest rivalry for both the Wyoming Cowboys and Colorado State Rams is the "Border War", and this Saturday will mark the 95th edition of that long and storied rivalry.
Wyoming (3-5, 1-2 in the Mountain West Conference) will host Colorado State (5-3, 2-1 in the MWC) at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Cowboys will be looking to even their conference mark at 2-2 with a victory. Wyoming is 1-0 in conference home games this season, defeating Brigham Young 13-10 on Oct. 18 in War Memorial Stadium. The Rams are 1-0 in conference road contests, defeating BYU 58-13 on Oct. 9.
Two of the Mountain West's top quarterbacks will face off in this year's matchup. Both Casey Bramlet of Wyoming and Bradlee Van Pelt of Colorado State hold their respective school records for total offense. Bramlet enters this week leading the MWC in passing yards for the season (256.9 yards per game), while Van Pelt ranks second (246.2). In total offense, Van Pelt is the conference leader in total offense at 309.5 yards per game, Bramlet is second (246.6).
