Devin Moore (Wyoming), Cameron Jensen (BYU) and Peter LoCoco (TCU) are Mountain West Conference Players of the Week for games through Nov. 4. Moore earns the Offensive Player of the Week honor, while Jensen garners the Defensive Player award and LoCoco receives Special Teams recognition. All three student-athletes are a first time weekly award winners.
OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Devin Moore, WYOMING
Sophomore, Running Back, Indianapolis, Ind./Cardinal Ritter
Sophomore running back Devin Moore stepped in for the injured Wynel Seldon and rushed for a career high 131 yards as Wyoming came back from a 17-3 deficit to defeat San Diego State, 27-24. Moore entered Saturday's game averaging 31.0 yards per game rushing, but recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game with 131 yards on 22 carries (6.0 avg.) as the Wyoming offense generated a season high 222 yards rushing.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
CAMERON JENSEN, BYU
Sophomore, Linebacker, Bountiful, Utah/Ricks JC
Senior linebacker Cameron Jensen led BYU with nine tackles (seven solo), including a season-high two sacks for 15 yards, in the 24-3 win at Colorado State. The Jensen-led defense held Colorado State to just 151 yards of total offense, including just 26 yards rushing. Jensen's first sack came with Colorado State facing a third-and-two from its own 17 yard line. Jensen sacked Caleb Hanie for a 10-yard loss, forcing the Rams to punt from their own seven. His second sack of the night was a five-yard takedown of Hanie on a second-and-10 at the CSU 35 yard line.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PETER LOCOCO, TCU
Senior, Place Kicker, Fort Worth, Texas/Nolan Catholic
Senior place kicker Peter LoCoco had a career-best four field goals in TCU's 25-10 victory at UNLV. His field goals came from 42, 33, 40 and 29 yards. The four field goals were one shy of the TCU single-game record.
