The Wyoming Cowboys are playing for bowl eligibility and an opportunity to tie for second in the Mountain West Conference. The New Mexico Lobos, are already bowl eligible, but still have hopes of sharing the MWC championship. That should make for a heated game this Saturday in Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium.

UW is 4-6, 2-3 in the MWC entering Saturday's game. If Wyoming can win its last two home games against New Mexico and UNLV, the Pokes can tie for second place in the Mountain West Conference at 4-3. Two more wins would also give the Cowboys an overall record of 6-6, which would make them bowl eligible.

New Mexico, 7-4 and 4-2 in the conference, is hoping to capture a share of the MWC title. A Lobo win over Wyoming combined with a Utah loss at Brigham Young on Saturday would give UNM a share of the title with Utah.

Kickoff is set for noon at Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium. The only television for the game is a tape delayed telecast back to the state of New Mexico.
