Eddie Yarbrough Honored by College Football Performance Awards

LARAMIE, Wyo. - For the first time in his career, Wyoming redshirt freshman defensive end Eddie Yarbrough has been honored by College Football Performance Awards as an Honorable Mention National Performer of the Week.

Yarbrough had 3.0 sacks, 4.0 tackles for loss and seven total tackles in a 28-23 Wyoming road win at UNLV last week to earn the honor.

Ohio State defensive lineman John Simon was named the week's Defensive Performer of the Week and top Defensive Lineman of the Week.

The defensive linemen recognized this week by College Football Performance Awards were: Defensive Lineman Performer of the Week -- John Simon (Ohio State); Honorable Mention -- Yarbrough (Wyoming), Steven Means (Buffalo), Alex Hansen (Air Force), Adam Replogle (Indiana), Vic Beasley (Clemson), Deandre Coleman (California) and Cody Bauer (Rice).
