UW Makes Finals for $100,000 Game Changing Play of the Year

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The University of Wyoming has been informed by ESPN that the Jovon Bouknight to Josh Barge 69-yard touchdown pass against Ole Miss earlier this season has been selected as one of the six finalists for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year. The winner's university will be awarded a $100,000 general scholarship contribution from Pontiac.

Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year

This is your chance to vote for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Year and help the University of Wyoming win a $100,000 general scholarship contribution from Pontiac. That's right, UW is one of six finalists selected from the 13 fan-voted weekly contests. Nine experts in college sports independently ranked each of the 13 weekly winners by considering both its impact on the outcome of game, as well as how it affected the team's season. The 69-yard touchdown pass from wide receiver Jovon Bouknight to fellow wide receiver Josh Barge against Ole Miss was one of the six plays chosen for the finals. The winner will be announced January 4th, 2005.
