Fresno ended the tournament with a 23-under par total of 841.

Wyoming junior Aichele played consistently throughout the 54 holes, shooting rounds of 73, 72 and 73 to tie for 38th. No other Cowboy was able to shoot three consecutive rounds in the 70s for the tournament.

"Jason (Aichele) had a really nice tournament," said Wyoming men's golf coach Joe Jensen. "He maintained his composure throughout all three rounds.

"Our inconsistency is really hurting us as a team right now, though. We hopefully will be able to get some good practice rounds in before our next event, which is our own Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Arizona in two weeks."

The field for the UC Santa Barbara Pacific Coast Intercollegiate was an extremely strong one, with six of the 21 teams ranked among the Top 50 in the nation and eight in the Top 100.
