"Our team did an excellent job of battling today, despite the factwe couldn't seem to make the big putts," said UW men's golf coach RogerPrenzlow. "Everytime we looked like we were about to make a run, a puttwould lip out. It just seemed like there was a blanket over the cup for ustoday.

"Jake (Hunter) really played a nice round today. The rest of theguys played well, but just couldn't get the putts to fall. It's a prettygood sign of the quality of team we have when you can shoot a 295 (onlyseven over par) and feel like you didn't had a very good day. Tomorrowhopefully we can start off fast and see if we can put a little pressure onthe Irish for the team title."

The third and final round will be played on the Eisenhower-BlueCourse on Sunday in Colorado Springs.

The Eisenhower-Blue Course measures 7,301 yards and plays to a parof 72.
