How did you get into wrestling?
My older cousin wrestled and I really looked up to him, ever since I was four years old I wanted to wrestle. He would always drag me to tournaments with him and it was just something I always wanted to do.
What is your go-to move?
My double-leg takedown, I am always looking to score.
What is your favorite thing to eat after weigh-ins?
Hot Chicken Noodle Soup
Do you have any pre-match rituals?
I don't have anything specific I do before each match, just anything I can do to get my body warm, get a good blow in and get all that crud out of my lungs. Whatever it takes to make my body feel good before the match.
What is your least favorite drill to do in practice?
I would have to say drill matches. They are not very fun, I prefer live wrestling. We go through a different series of drills, like your go-to move, defense, a lot of high intensity drilling. Coach Suder stresses "you shoot, you score, he shoots, you score" so we work on that kind of stuff during those drills.
How did you spend your New Year's?
I got together with a bunch of guys from the team and played cards.
What is your New Year's resolution?
I haven't really thought of one yet.
Who is your favorite music group?
Do you have a favorite song?
I would have to say "Country Boy Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr.
Who do you look up to?
My older cousin Kyle, he is the whole reason I got into wrestling. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have gotten into wrestling and I wouldn't be here right now.
Why did you choose Wyoming?
I just though it was a good fit for me. I really like the facilities here, the coaching staff and it is really close to home for me. This was a good place for me to excel at wrestling.
