What got you into wrestling as a kid?
"Mostly my parents and I also had an older brother who I always looked up to. He was always into wrestling so I kind of followed in his foot steps."
Do you have any pre-match rituals?
"Nothing in particular, I like to go through the same stretches and I like my alone time. I don't like to be distracted, I like to isolate myself from noises so I can focus."
Do you have a go-to move during a close match?
"I like to use the single leg in a close match."
What is your favorite part of wrestling?
"It's a sport that takes a lot of discipline. I don't think it's a sport for everyone, you have to maintain a certain weight which is not always easy. It is a very unique sport."
What is your least favorite part of practice?
"Probably the conditioning, it can be pretty intense at times."
Anything specific you eat before or after a match?
"After matches I like to eat a banana to get some potassium back into my system. I always have a Gatorade or a Life Water for right after weigh-ins. There is nothing better than eating and drinking something after weigh-ins."
Where is your favorite place to hang out?
"I would have to say the bowling alley. I average about a 130 or 140."
Are you a morning person or a night person?
"I'm both, I like the night, but I have no problem getting up in the morning and going to class or practice."
What is your favorite sports memory?
"When I won my fourth straight championship in high school."

"Definitely American Gladiators!"
One person you would like to have dinner with?
"Dan Gable, He is one of the biggest names in the sport of wrestling. I like his hard nose attitude towards the sport and I think he would be an interesting guy to talk to and see his outlook on life."
