"My visit to Laramie was really great," said Kotzea."I was really impressed with the facilities and the waycoach Suder and his staff run the program. I knew that if I decided on Wyoming that I would be in good hands."

In the classroom, Ryan accumulated a 3.2 grade pointaverage and was twice awarded as an honor student-athlete.He plans on majoring in secondary education at UW. He is the son of Dale and Deb Kotzea.

"Ryan had several opportunities to go elsewhere involvinga couple of sports," commented UW head coach Steven Suder."In our opinion, he belongs in Division I.
