Moran, who has been an assistant at Wyoming the previous seven seasons, was announced as a member of Fisher's staff on March 27, 1998, when she was named head coach.
Pat Moran has grown up around the University of Wyoming and its athletic teams. A graduate of Laramie High School and a 1991 graduate of UW with a masteris degree in psycho-motor behavior, Moran will be assisting the Cowgirl Basketball program for the seventh season. Moran played at Sheridan College from 1984-86 and currently serves as an instructor for the UW School of Physical and Health Education. Moran, coordinates the Cowgirl basketball camps, which draw nearly 1,000 young ladies to the Wyoming campus each summer. His father, Dr. Eugene Moran, is a retired UW professor of Education. Moran is the co-director of the Little Cowgirl Basketball Camp. Moran is married to the former Lisa Mackell.
