Quotes from head coach Cindy Fisher
"I was really proud of the way we came out in the second half. Weneeded to make some adjustments, and keep Carrie (Bacon) out defensivelyon Meckling (Amy) and she held her to seven points in the half. Overall,I thought it was a great team effort. Taran Stapp gave us some reallysolid minutes off the bench, and Darci Arsene, who had been sick earlierin the week, gave us good minutes to rest some key people."
"Outrebounding them by 22, I told the kids that the game would be wonat the free throw line and on the boards, and we did a good job of thaton both ends. Our goal was to shoot 75% from the line and over 40% fromthe field, and we obviously accomplished that. They really focused onwhat we needed to, and I was really proud of that."
"Shelby Hoffman came off the bench and gave us a spark, which she hasbeen doing and is more comfortable in that situation. I really feel likeit gives her time to get focused, and she really gave us great minutesand points."
"Jessica Gibbs finishes the night with a double-double with 25 pointsand 14 boards. At times, I felt like she completely dominated theboards, and 10-13 from the floor is a great percentage. We need thateffort from her every game, and she stepped up big time tonight."
