"I feel great about this win today," said head coach Cindy Fisher."Maybe I felt this way a little more than girls did, but I felt NewMexico really took a lot out of us, and to recover from that in 24 hoursshows a lot of character. We started off a little slow, but we came backand held on. A team like this is extremely hard to guard and it's not agood match up for us. We pull our posts out and ask them to playperimeter defense. Overall, I feel really good, because a wins a win atthis point. We haven't had a win in over a month, so I feel great aboutit."
The Cowgirls even their record at 9-9 overall and 1-4 in theconference. They will travel next week to face San Diego State and UNLV.
