A 25-7 run in the third quarter helped lift the Wyoming basketball team (11-11 overall, 4-8 MW) to a 24-point victory, 82-58, over Boise State Broncos (16-7 overall, 9-3 MW) on Saturday afternoon in Laramie.

"We set the tone early in today's game," UW head coach Joe Legerski said. "Natalie Baker came out aggressive, we knew that we had to get her out on the perimeter to play and she did a tremendous job. I think you could see our confidence growing as the game progressed. Liv (Roberts) was awesome all the way around with 15 points, six rebounds and four assists that is playing solid basketball. At halftime, we talked about having the energy to still play but more importantly do the things that help Wyoming. It doesn't matter if you didn't score a point, make a field goal, we have to keep moving forward as a team and I think we did that in the second half."

Sophomore Natalie Baker tied her career-high with 19 points to lead the way for the Cowgirls. She also brought down a game-high seven rebounds. Sophomore Marleah Campbell recorded a career-high 16 points followed by sophomore Liv Roberts with 15 and freshman Marta Gomez with 10. Wyoming shot 26-of-55 (.473) from the field, 10-of-24 (.417) from beyond the arc and 20-of-25 (.800) from the free throw line. Boise State shot 22-of-73 (.301) from the field and 2-of-23 (.087) from the field.

Out of the break, the Cowgirls stormed out with a 25-7 run to give them a 31-point advantage, 60-29. The teams combined for nine points as UW took a 64-34 lead headed into the final frame. Wyoming shot 9-of-14 (.634) from the field and 4-of-7 (.571) in the quarter. Despite being outscored 24-18 in the fourth quarter, the Cowgirls would earn the 82-58 victory.
