Quotes from head coach Cindy Fisher

"I think the girls were extremely excited about tonight, and reallyconfident going into the game. The first five minutes I'm not sure whatwas going on, they were so ready to play, but they regrouped and we grewup a lot as a team tonight to be able to come back from a deficit likethat. San Diego State's starting five is very athletic and competitive,so for us to come back I was really proud of them. The girls are excitedand it gives them a lot of confidence going into Saturday, and we'rejust trying to build for the tournament, so anything we can do to buildcharacter is helping."

"I think the shooting in the first half may have been a little of myfault, we were doing a couple of different things defensively, and letthem have a couple of good looks at the basket. But once we switchedthat up, they didn't get as many easy looks in the second half. Theyjust shot the ball very well, and they are capable shooting the ballwell, but on the other hand they have one of the best defenses in theconference. I thought once we made some adjustments defensively itreally helped us."
