"I really felt like the foul problems and officiating really took usout of our game plan early," said head coach Cindy Fisher. "I don'tthink we bounced back as well as we should have, but they really did anice job on Shelby Hoffman of shutting her down, which got us out ofsync a bit. We also had a few offensive fouls and that caused us to be alittle tentative down low."

"Oregon State is a big team, good size and a great rebounding team. Ithink one of the things I'm most disappointed about is our rebounding. It's something that we've got to work on, being a little undersized,we've need to do a better job boxing out."

"I was very pleased with Brenda Pickup's performance tonight. She cando so much at the point, and she really showed composure for a youngpoint guard position. Whenever she is in the game things happen, and Ifelt that really got Carly some more looks at the basket."

The Cowgirls fall to 2-1 overall on the season. They will host Oakland(Mich.) University on Monday night at 5:15 p.m., and the ColoradoBuffaloes on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. Both games will be played inthe MPG.
