"Aubrey played as good a 40 minutes that I've seen from a player," said head coach Joe Legerski. "Not only did she have 31 points and 14 rebounds, she had a great defensive performance as well. I thought we came out and executed the game plan from the beginning, hit some shots, which gave us confidence. Chattanooga is a good basketball team. They've won their conference several years in a row and made it to postseason. This is a big win for us as a program."

Chattanooga was led by Whitney Hood with 22 points and six rebounds in her effort. She was followed by Kayla Christopher with 13 points, while Kyle Lambert led the way for the Lady Mocs with seven rebounds. UTC shot 21-50 (.420) from the field and 17-19 (.895) from the charity stripe.
