The Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball team will head back out on the road to close out the week as they travel to Fort Collins to take on the Colorado State Rams, on Saturday, January 26. The game time is set for 2:00 p.m. in Moby Arena.

Wyoming is currently 17-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play after a 87-39 victory over UNLV on Wednesday. They are also currently ranked 18th in the Associated Press Poll and 19th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll. Senior Hanna Zavecz leads the way for UW with 14.8 points and 3.8 assists per game, which ranks fourth in the Mountain West Conference. She is followed by fellow senior Justyna Podziemska who is adding 12.4 points and 5.7 rebounds, while Aubrey Vandiver is chipping in 11.3 points and a team leading 6.7 rebounds per game. The Cowgirls are leading the MWC in scoring defense allowing just 51.4 per contest, assists (15.72 aspg) and blocked shots (5.39 bpg). They are also shooting .427 (402-942) from the field, .334 (125-374) from beyond the arc and .700 (245-350) from the free throw line.
Colorado State is currently 2-15 overall and 0-4 in the MWC after a 56-43 loss against Air Force on Wednesday night. CSU is led by Sara Hunter who is leading the way with 10.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She is followed by Juanise Cornell who is adding 8.5 points and a team leading 7.5 rebounds. They return two starters and four letterwinners to a team that went 8-21 overall and 3-13 in the MWC a year ago. This is the 76th meeting between the two schools. Colorado State leads the series 40-35. The last time the two teams met was February 25, 2007 as the Cowgirls defeated the Rams 72-37 in Laramie. Colorado State is coached by Jen Warden who is in her third season with the program.
