University of Wyoming Cowgirl head basketball coach Joe Legerski today announced the addition of Aubry Boehme (Bay Me) to this year's recruiting class. She will attend the University of Wyoming beginning in the fall of 2012.

"The addition of Aubry solidifies our post play," said head coach Joe Legerski. "She is a tremendous competitor and will have an immediate impact on the Wyoming program. Her toughness and desire to win are second to none."

Here is the signee:

Aubry Boehme, 6-0, Forward, Smithfield, Utah (Otero Junior College): A First Team All-America selection in 2012 while competing at Otero Junior College. She was also selected All-Region and to the Region IX All-Tournament Team during her sophomore year after averaging 17 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest. This past season, Boehme helped lead her team to a school best 33-3 record and the Region IX Championship, which was the first ever in school history. They would earn the seventh seed in the NJCAA National tournament and went 2-2 to place eighth in the 16-team tournament. A year ago, the team went 25-6 falling one victory short of qualifying for the national tournament. She finished her career second all-time in scoring with 1,041, while recording a school high 94 blocks in a career and 100 steals in a season. Boehme was coached by Taylor Wagner at Otero. She is the daughter of Valry and Dean, and has four siblings.

Boehme is the fourth student-athlete to join the Cowgirls as they inked three during the early signing period. The other signees include Marquelle Dent (5-7, Guard, Denver, Colo.), Whitney Gordon (6-2, Forward, Marion, Kan.) and Fallon Lewis (6-0, Guard, Dayton, Wyo.).
