Academic All-MWC Honors Awarded For Women's Hoops

LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The Mountain West Conference has announced its Academic All-Mountain WestConference honors for the sport of women's basketball. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, astudent-athlete must have completed one academic term at the member institution, maintained a cumulativegrade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.

Thirty-nine student athletes qualify for the academic all-conference team in the sport of women's basketball.Colorado State and Wyoming tied for the most honorees with eight each, New Mexico followed with sixselections, BYU and Utah garnered five each, Air Force and UNLV each notched three selections and San DiegoState had one honoree.
