LARAMIE, Wyo. -

Q: When did you start playing basketball and were you involved in any other sports as a child?
A: I started playing basketball when I was six years old. I also played Finnish baseball (which is different than American baseball) and I stopped playing when I was eighteen years old.

Q: What are you looking forward to most about playing for the University of Wyoming?
A: I am looking forward to improving as a team, playing with my amazing teammates and winning games together.

Q: Who is your all-time favorite basketball player and why?
A: My favorite basketball player is Stephen Curry. I love the way he is one of the most talented players and still is so humble.

Q: What was your most memorable moment while playing for the U18 Finnish National Team?
A: Most memorable moment was when I was on the U18 team roster for the first time and I was able to represent my home country. It was amazing to wear Finland’s jersey and sing the national anthem before the game.

Q: What is your favorite part about being from Finland and what do you miss the most?
A: Favorite part about being from Finland is that we have a small population with only 5.5 million people. Just being part of it is special. I miss the most being with my lovely family, seeing my cats every day, and having lunch and talks with my grandmother.
