Tickets for the 2002 BlueCross BlueShield of Wyoming Shootout go on sale Saturday, November 2nd at the Casper Events Center. This year's event will be held Saturday, December 14th. The format will once again be a doubleheader with the Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team taking on the Texas Tech Lady Raiders at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Cowboys versus Bobby Knight and his Texas Tech team at 8:00 p.m.
Ticket prices range from $75 for courtside seats to $15 for general admission seating and admit fans to both games. Tickets can be purchased through the Casper Events Center Ticket Office and its outlets. To contact the Casper Events Center, call toll-free at 1-800-442-2256.
Preceding the games, the annual First Interstate Bank Shootout Luncheon will be held at noon on December 14th at the Parkway Plaza in Casper. Luncheon tickets purchased in advance are $15.00 or you can purchase them at the door for $20. Tickets for this event can be purchased through the Casper Events Center or by calling the Cowboy Joe Club office at 307-766-6242.
Also on December 14th, Sidelines Sports Bar is hosting a pre-game party from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the pre-game party are $10.00 for Cowboy Joe Club members and $15.00 for nonmembers. Tickets for this event will only be sold at the door.
