The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will play their second and final exhibition game this week. They will host the Western State Mountaineers, on Friday, Nov. 4. The game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Arena Auditorium. Prices for the game are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children (ages three through 18). The Cowgirls are 1-0 during the exhibition season after a 67-46 victory over the CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves on Friday. True freshman Kaitlyn Mileto led the way with 21 points, while Kayla Woodward followed with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Chaundra Sewell also chipped in ten rebounds and four points.
Wyoming will face the Western State Mountaineers in their second exhibition game. The Mountaineers are 0-2 in exhibition action after defeats by Arizona and Baylor. They return four starters to a team that went 11-16 overall and 9-13 in the RMAC a year ago. The Cowgirls and the Mountaineers have played twice during the regular season. Wyoming holds the series record 2-0. The last time the two teams met was December 9, 2006 in Casper as the Cowgirls won the game 69-56. The Mountaineers are coached by Latricia Trammell who is in her fifth season with the program.
Wyoming will open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 11, as they host the Utah State Aggies. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. in the Arena Auditorium.
