Woodward Receives Votes on Preseason AP All-America Team

LARAMIE, Wyo. - Wyoming basketball's Kayla Woodward received votes on the preseason Women's All-America Team, announced Tuesday by the Associated Press.

The 5-11 forward from Sheridan, Wyo. continues to add to her accolades this season. Earlier this fall, Woodward was named the Mountain West preseason Player of the Year for the second year in a row and to the preseason All-MW Team. She was selected to the 2014 WBCA Division I Coaches' Honorable Mention All-America Team and the WBCA All-Region VII team. A First Team All-Mountain West honoree a year ago, Woodward averaged a team high 16.7 points along with 7.1 rebounds during her junior campaign.

The Cowgirls will host the Western State Mountaineers, on Monday, Nov. 17, to open up the newly-renovated Arena-Auditorium. Game time is set for 7 MT.
