The Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball team will host their third straight home game this week before the Thanksgiving break. They will face the Boise State Broncos, on Tuesday, November 25. The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m.

"The challenge for us right now is a very difficult stretch in our schedule," said UW head coach Joe Legerski. "We are playing or have played a number of high level teams like Montana, Gonzaga, Boise State and Oregon. We need to continue as a group to improve every day."
Wyoming is currently 2-2 overall after earning a split last weekend against North Dakota and Gonzaga respectively. Freshmen Kristen Scheffler and Emma Langford lead the way in scoring with 15.5 points per game, which is sixth in the Mountain West Conference. Senior Megan McGuffey is leading the way with seven rebounds, while chipping in 10.5 points per contest. The Cowgirls are shooting .440 (99-225) from the field, 37-90 (.411) from beyond the arc and .696 (58-69) from the free throw line.
The Broncos are currently 2-2 overall this season. Marisa Stotler leads the way with 11.5 points and eight rebounds per game, while Ja'Lara Walker is adding 10.3 points and five rebounds. They return three starters and eight letterwinners to a team that went 14-17 overall and 7-11 in the Western Athletic Conference a year ago. This is the sixth meeting between the two teams. Boise State leads the series 3-2. The last time the two teams met was December 7, 2005 as the Cowgirls defeated the Broncos, 68-54, in Laramie. Boise State is coached by Gordy Presnell who is in his fourth season with the program.
