The Wyoming Cowgirl Basketball team will wrap up their road trip in California on Monday, Nov. 29. They will play the UC Irvine Anteaters beginning at 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time in Irvine. Live audio can be found on

Wyoming is currently 4-1 on the season after earning the Holiday Inn Thanksgiving Basketball Championship with wins over Chattanooga, 66-65, and Wichita State, 63-55. Aubrey Vandiver leads the way with 17.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per contest. She is followed by Hillary Carlson who is adding 15.8 points and 8.2 rebounds. The Cowgirls are shooting .412 (114-277) from the field and out rebounding opponents 39.4 to 32.8.

The Anteaters are currently 2-3 overall. UCI is led by Mikah Maly-Karros who is averaging 19.6 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. She is followed by Jade Smith-Williams who is adding 10.4 points and 1.4 rebounds. They return two starters and eight letterwinners to a team that went 9-21 overall and 6-10 in the Big West Conference a year ago.

This is the first meeting ever between the two teams. UC Irvine is coached by Molly Goodenbour who is in her third season with the program and her fifth overall.
