Probable Starters: Here are the probable starters for this week's games:

This Week: The Cowgirls will be off for the Christmas break until Dec.27 when they resume practice. They will host Monmouth on Saturday, Dec.30 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday, Jan. 2, after the break.

About Monmouth: The Cowgirls will host the Monmouth Hawks in their firstgame back after Christmas. The Hawks are currently 3-4 overall, andwill play Denver before taking on the Cowgirls. Junior forward MichelleCappadona leads the team averaging 18.7 points and 7.4 rebounds.Monmouth went 15-13 overall and 11-7 in the Northeast Conference lastseason. They return 12 letterwinners and four starters to this year'ssquad. This is the first meeting between the two schools. The Hawks arecoached by Jackie DeVane, who is in her first season at Monmouth.

About Texas A&M-Corpus Christi: The Cowgirls will host their second gameof the week by welcoming Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Islanderscurrently have a 6-6 overall record. They are led by sophomore forwardKristin Rogers, who is averaging 13.7 points and 5.4 rebounds. TexasA&M-CC was 14-12 overall in their first season of Division Icompetition. They return nine letterwinners and all five starters tothis year's squad. This is the second meeting between the two schools,Wyoming leads 1-0. They played last season in Corpus Christi, with theCowgirls coming out on top with a 64-60 victory. The Islanders arecoached by Sheryl Estes, who is in her second season.
