How did you get into the sport of golf?
"I think my dad pretty much just put the sticks in our hands and we just went from there. I went out and started playing a lot as a little kid and I became more and more interested in it and it just kind of went off from there."

Talk about how you've improved during your tenure as a Cowgirl golfer?
"I am kind of a perfectionist, so my freshman year, I came out and put a lot of pressure on myself to do really well and that didn't work out the way I had planned and that was the same for my sophomore year. I really started to improve this past summer and I worked really hard on my game and started to see the improvements, so it's been nice."

Is there still room for improvement?
"There is definitely room for improvement; to keep going. I know that I can play well, I've just got to keep working hard in order to keep dropping those strokes."

What would you say is the strength of your game?
"Probably around the green; that's always been my strength. Just making the little things happen."

What is your favorite club to hit?
"Well, oddly enough, I like hitting my eight and nine iron into the green."

What is the one round of 18 that sticks out in your mind the most?
"I would have to say my last round at the state tournament in high school, which is weird because I don't like to live in the past. Heading into the last round, I was in the lead, but I needed to keep it and being able to see my mom and dad standing at the 18th green watching me; it has always stuck out in my mind."

What's the deal with some of the club covers on the Cowgirl team? Do you have any crazy covers in your bag?
"With the team, it's kind of a spirit thing. It helps keep them up, especially Laura, she's got some crazy covers. This trip, I needed one for my putter and I ended up getting one, but it was an animal, which led to me getting another animal cover with Lindsey, so I don't know, it's just something in our heads that's fun and makes you laugh."

If you could play one course, anywhere in the world, where would it be?
"I don't that I have a favorite place in particular, but I would love to play anywhere in Ireland. If I had to pick a place, I would probably say, Pebble Beach."

Do you have a favorite professional that you follow or try to emulate your game after?
"Well of course, Tiger Woods because he's incredible. I really like to watch Ernie Els; he's just so smooth with an easy tempo."

If you could play one other sport besides golf here at UW, what would it be?
"Basketball. I miss it very much."

What do you like to do with your free time?
"I do play golf a lot, but when I do play, I like to play with my dad, or I really like to read. I really do like to spend time with my family."

What was the last CD you either purchased or downloaded?
"I believe it was Rascal Flatts; their new album."

When in Subway, what sandwich to you get and what toppings?
"Spicy Italian, toasted, with lettuce, tomato, mustard and oil and vinegar."
