TCU entered Wednesday's final round with athree-stroke lead over Tulsa, but Tulsa closed with a final round 308, whileTCU shot a 312 on the final day.

"This was a great individual accomplishment for Jordan (Lintz),"said UW women's golf coach Jill Johnson. "She has worked so hard this year.To finish in the Top 10 in this league is as good as it gets. I can't sayenough about the way Jordan has handled herself all season.

"Jordan hit the ball as good this week as she had all year. Sheplayed solid from tee to green which was critical, because the conditionswere very windy with extremely deep rough. If you missed the fairway onthis golf course, you were in serious trouble.

"We didn't play as well as we would have liked to, but we're still avery young team. I was really pleased with the way the girls hung in there. The course was a difficult one, but even when our girls had a bad hole theydid a good job of refocusing and concentrating on the next hole."

The five individuals that competed for the Wyoming at this year'sWAC Championship included one junior, Lintz; three sophomores, KatherineCrowley, Jana Johnson and Jessi Santesson; and one freshman Tara Ludwig.

The tournament was played at the Poppy Ridge Golf Course inLivermore, Calif., which measured 6,133 yards and played to a par of 72.
