Wyoming junior Tara Ludwig shot a closing round 78 on Tuesday to tie for 27th out of 93 competitorsat the 2001 Colorado State Ram Fall Classic.
Ludwig, a junior from Portland, Ore., entered Tuesday's final round tied for 24th place. Ludwig ended with a 54-hole total of 231 --15-over par. She shot the low round of her career on Monday when she posted a 74 in the afternoon round. UW junior Kim Nissen also shot apersonal best round of 73 in the final round and tied for 50th. Mayumi Motoyama of Colorado State won the individual title at five-under par211.
Colorado State won the team competition with an 18-over par score of 882. Wyoming finished in 14th with a total of 963.
Seventeen teams competed in the two-day event over the par-72, 6,036-yard Ptarmigan Country Club Course southeast of Fort Collins.
