Kim Nissen and JanaJohnson are tied at 177 for 34th, and they each had one solid round of 86.
"Tara missed virtually all of last year with a foot injury, and sheis just now playing herself back into the form she had as a freshman twoyears ago. Alison has been our top finisher in each of the first twotournaments this fall. She started out really fast today, but had sometrouble in the second round. For Kim and Jana, this was their firsttournament of the season, so it was good to see them come out and shoot onegood round. They just need to improve their consistency.
"It's early in the season, and with the number of injuries we'vebeen dealing with, it's good to see everyone back out on the coursecompeting and getting their games back in shape."
The final 18-hole round of the Lady Cardinal will be played Tuesdayon the Beaumont Country Club in Beaumont, Texas. The course plays to a parof 72 and measures 6,093 yards.
