Junior forward, Megan Marsh led the Cowgirl's offensive effort with three shots and two goals and also created several break aways that rallied the team. Laura Miceli and Katrina Morton also helped the Cowgirl effort with two shots each, while Kelly McShane had one shot hit the post.

Wyoming's next opponent will be Kansas University, on Saturday, Aug. 29th in Lawrence, Kansas. UW then returns home the following week for games on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and Friday, Sept. 3 with Denver and Colorado College respectively.

Post-game quotes from UW head coach Anne Moore - ?Overall I was extremely happy with the way the team played. We had opportunities that we should have done a better job of finishing on, however I was happy to see them come back from a two-zero deficit and play the way they played.

?I was just happy with their performance even thought the result wasn't what we would have liked it to be. The team finished on a positive note and we're comfortable with the way that they played, but they definitely agree with me that we need to finish the opportunities that we create.

?In the middle Katrina Morton and Anne Maddock did a good job up top for Laura Miceli who was fighting extremely hard. Miceli had one of the assists, the first assist, from her scrappy play up top. She was able to get a ball and tackle and the ball came out and Megan Marsh finished the first goal. Then on the second goal Kathy Lewis crossed the ball from the right hand side of the field and Megan Marsh finished on another header, so Megan Marsh had two goals.

?Like I said I was happy with the way that we played and it was a good result as far as the team effort and the ability for them to come back.?
