The Cowgirls played an impressive match, coming back from a two goaldeficit to tie the game and force overtime. However, two straight overtime matchesin three days combined with a strong offense from UNLV kept UW from comingaway with the win.

"This was a very physical, hard fought game by both sides," said Wyoming'shead soccer coach, Anne Moore. "I thought we hung in there pretty well, given the fact that most of the players on the field today played a 120minute match on Friday. I was proud of the fact that they were able to pushthrough and give 100% right up until the end. It's frustrating because itwas right there for us and we couldn't finish. I have to give our playerscredit, though, for not giving up and fighting hard the entire game."
The Cowgirls (2-8-3, 0-1-2 MWC) hit the road for the last time in theregular season next weekend, heading to Utah to take on the Utes, Thurs.,Oct. 25. Wyoming also faces MWC powerhouse BYU on Sat., Oct. 27. Theseason rounds out at home when UW faces Air Force and San Francisco Nov. 2and 4, respectively.
