LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The University of Wyoming women's soccer team announced its 10-game spring schedule on Wednesday. The Cowgirls will host five matches at home and play five on the road. The spring schedule includes regionally-friendly trips to Nebraska and Utah.
“After what we feel was a solid 2015 fall season our goal was to schedule good, quality games that will challenge our team to continue their improvement,” head coach Pete Cuadrado said. “This spring schedule will provide us with the opportunity to not only improve, but to compete at a high level.”
The Cowgirls begin spring ball action with two matches on February 21st at the Indoor Practice Facility in Laramie against Regis University at 2 p.m. MT and later will take on UC Colorado Springs at 5:45 p.m.
On April 10th, Wyoming will host a three-team tournament in the IPF. Action will begin at 10 a.m. as the Cowgirls take on the Colorado School of Mines. At 12:30 p.m. Colorado Mines will play CSU Pueblo, while UW will return to battle CSU Pueblo at 3:15 p.m., to conclude the tournament.
Wyoming will travel to Omaha, Neb. on April 16th-17th to face the University of Nebraska Omaha, Drake University and Iowa State University.
On April 23rd, UW will be in Salt Lake City, Utah, to take on the University of Utah at 10 a.m. and Utah State University at 3 p.m.
The Cowgirls will wrap up its spring schedule at home with the annual Alumni Game.
