LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The University of Wyoming women's soccer team announced its 10-game spring schedule on Wednesday. The Cowgirls will have four matches at home and six on the road. The regionally-friendly schedule features trips to Colorado, Nebraska and Utah.
"The staff and players are looking forward to the competitive spring schedule we have put together," UW head coach Pete Cuadrado said. "This year's schedule includes two teams that made the NCAA tournament in 2014 (Colorado and South Dakota State), two teams that appeared in the 2013 NCAA tournament (Colorado and Utah) and one semi-professional team (Real Salt Lake Women)."
The Cowgirls begin the spring with two matches on March 7 against UC Colorado Springs at 3:30 p.m. MT and at 7 p.m. versus Colorado in Boulder, Colo.
On March 29 Wyoming returns to its Indoor Practice Facility with two matches. At 10 a.m. the Cowgirls play against Northern Colorado and at 2 p.m. they take on Colorado School of Mines.
Wyoming will play at the Louis Madrid Sports Complex the following Saturday as well with a match. It faces CSU-Pueblo at 1 p.m.
UW will travel to Lincoln, Neb., for two matches on April 12 versus Nebraska at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. against South Dakota State.
Wyoming will wrap up its spring schedule at home with an Alumni Game at 1 p.m. in the IPF.
