LARAMIE, Wyo. -
The University of Wyoming women’s soccer team and head coach Pete Cuadrado announced its 2015 schedule on Friday. The Cowgirls are set to play 12 home matches at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex, six of which are Mountain West matches, and one outreach game in Cheyenne, Wyo.
The Cowgirls kick off their home opener with two home exhibition matches. The Cowgirls face Nebraska-Omaha and Colorado School of Mines on Aug. 13 and 17, both matches set to begin at 5 p.m. MT.
Wyoming begins non conference play on Aug. 21 against Montana in Missoula, Mont. UW heads to Honolulu, Hawai’i, for two matches against Hawai’i and Denver on Aug. 27 and 29. The Cowgirls will then return home for a three-game series starting Sept. 4 against Morehead State, then Sept. 6 facing Drake and closing with Kansas on Sept. 11. On Sept. 15, Wyoming will head to Cheyenne, Wyo., for a match at East High School against Northern Colorado. The Cowgirls will wrap up non conference play with a match against Idaho State at the Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex on Sept. 18.
On Sept. 25, the Cowgirls start MW conference play at home against San Jose State. Wyoming will continue its first weekend of conference play at home with a match versus Fresno State on Sept. 27.
The Cowgirls will go on the road for two games in Colorado Springs, Colo., against Air Force and Colorado College on Oct. 2 and 4. UW will return home on Oct. 9 and 11 for matches against New Mexico and San Diego State.
On Oct. 16, Wyoming heads to Nevada for match against UNLV and finish with a match on Oct. 18 versus Nevada. The Cowgirls will have their last home weekend on Oct. 23 and 25 with games against Boise State and Utah State. The Cowgirls will close the regular season with a Border War meeting against Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo., on Oct. 30.
The MW tournament will be hosted by San Diego State and will run Nov. 3-8.
